Hi August. Bye August.

Months ago, we are giving you a welcome to the Summer Holidays. Now we are almost saying good bye and missing it already.

The time is flying and we all, from Bundoran Community Centre, are trying to make the best year for our community, as always. How? Thinking and bringing the best activities and classes for all.

In August we had 3 big events here and we are so delighted with the feedback from all attendance.

The Arts & Crafts Summer Camp happened from 31st July to 4th August. The kids painted, cut out, made collages, made new friends and had fun together. The team of the Emerald Education conducted the week with mastery, providing the children with good memories to be told back to school.

Kayak Paddle Board started on Monday 24th July and ran until the 22nd. Young people aged 12-17 learned how to paddle from experienced teachers, breaking down barriers, integrating with other cultures, making new friendships, whilst having a good time, connecting with nature, improving strength and flexibility and enjoying the rest of their holidays. Thank you to our funders DLDC and Donegal County Council for supporting our summer camps.

The Bundoran Bay Swim 2023 took place on the 13th August on the Pier in Bundoran. Even with the rain we had about 500 spectators throughout the event and 63 swimmers making history. Thank you to all our volunteers on land and in the sea, and to the RNLI for their presence on both.

We would like say thank you to all who support us by visiting us, attending or taking part in our events, classes and our activities, to those who volunteer with us, to those who print with us or even sign up for our newsletter. Each & everyone of you understand the meaning of a community and root for its development and growth. We really appreciate it.

The Agenda for September is already promising. Keep your eyes in our social media pages and make sure to sign up our monthly newsletter to be informed about everything that will be happening here.
